sorry to bug all...

ok.  simple circuit.  http://commonsound.org/tremulus/tremulusscheme.pdf (i've even built it before...heavily modified no less!)

input/output buffer (top half) work well (audio probed).  the LFO is troubling me.  i wired it up two full circuits out of frustration...  here's what i got the second time:

no oscillation, though the depth pot works fine.  i didn't add any changes except for swapping the .01uf cap for a .0022 (spdt to switch in a .01 or .1) and using a spdt to switch between two trimpots for the smoothing parameter (basically to switch between tri/square(ish).  now...i jumpered a wire from pin 6 of the 4558 to the point between the 2.7k/10uf to ground.  and it worked!  sort of... the wave was pretty saw/tri-ish and the speed and spacing pots worked, but my smoothing trims did nothing...also the cap switching spdt did nothing as well...?  i'm going to get rid of that jumper soon, but i don't understand why it would be working like that...?  hmm...i went through all of the normal debugging stuff (and i searched  ;)).  any ideas/help?  anyone ever have a similar problem?  it kind of sounds like crud right now, although i know how marvelous it can sound ...  :(

sorry to bump but i'm at a very frustrated impotent place right now... haha

well i'm still trying to debug this thing...i breadboarded the LFO portion and it works fine on the board :icon_mad:
gone over my circuit half a dozen times, changed the LFO cap, checked all my resistances, etc...argggh

if my depth is at full and i connect the battery to the board all i get is a little flash then the LED turns on pretty fast then fades out...depth at minimum and the LED shines bright like it should!

any help?  i'm at the end of my rope!
