3pdt toggle switch

Hi,

Do 3pdt toggle switches exist? Is there any toggle switch that can be a straight replacement for the true bypass switches? I want to put some pedals in rack form and in some other forms and i want to replace the little stomp 3pdt to a toggle.

i always get mine from ebay.  reduction musical instrument shop in hong kong.  50 for $50 plus $15-20 shipping.  i've never had a problem with them, but am still looking for 3pdt, dpdt, spdt toggles with fatter bats...kind of like those radioshack ones with the on/off labels.  anyone know of a good source?

you should check them out or look up "3pdt toggle" on ebay.  that one buyer also sells packs of 1, 3, 8, 20, etc...  there are a few other sellers selling individuals for less than $2, i think.

He also has tons of other switches. im about to order a crapload for my cornish board to switch external loops on and off, select between EQs etc etc. Cant beat the price.

Thanks. I assume to replace the stomp style it would still be on-on?

yeah.  it's exactly the same, just a toggle.

I've bought these switches before, and they work just fine, although:

1)  They don't take overheating as well as other 3PDT toggles, or 3PDT stomp switches for that matter.  So solder them carefully.
2)  They come from Hong Kong, so they might take a couple weeks to get to you.  My last order took about 18 days.  Just so you know.

Other than that they will do exactly what you're looking for.

yeah i forgot to mention that about the overheating...gotta be quick!  i've only messed up one when i wasn't really paying attention to what i was doing.  you should be fine as long as you're not just sitting there with the iron on the switch.
