Poly caps to Rat?

Can i use poly caps instead of electros in Rat/Rodent? I mean those 1uf,2,2uf and 4,7uf. And does that affect same way as in TS circuit?

If you can find polys with that large a value I would say that would be fine.  I always find it hard to find poly film caps with a value of 1uf and up but I guess it's not impossible.  I use tant 1uF in many of my builds.

I think is better you use tantalum caps instead of electrolitics or polyestere. The original rat has no electro inside, the big values is all tantalum. I find WIMA caps sound too hi-fi for distortion fx, if you don't like tantalum try mylar (green polyestere) caps.
