Mid-Boost/Scoop switch?

I'm working on a little project where I would like a on-off-on switch that when in on-1 that I get a mid boost then bypass in off then finally a mid-scoop when in on-2. That's all easy enough but here's the clinker...I would like to also have one or more tone controls that work on both circuits.

Ideas?

look up a marshal or fender type tone stack and replace the mid pot with a spdt on/off/on then figure out your 3 desired resistances on the 'mid pot', say 0r  10kr 100kr and wire the highest resistance in place of the mid pot , one side of both a 10k and a wire(0r) in parallel with the 100kr each to one side of the switch and the middle pole of the switch to the other end of the 100k.
so... in center position(off) you get 100k for the mid pot...mid boost
in top position you get 100k in parallel with 10k roughly 10kish... flat
bottom would be a wire in parallel for 0r mid scoop!
download "duncans tone stack calculator"
and change values on something till you find 3 resistances that do what you want...
but tone controls steal volume so you might need another gain stage if you dont have enough output after the additional tone controls...
the amz muzique site has some good articles on tone stacks and such...
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!

Thanks!

You helped me to visualize it. After reading your reply and poking at the Duncan tool this should be pretty straight forward...The Marshall looks very flexible. THANKS!
