Easyvibe & wall wart

Does anyone remember what you do to the easyvibe if you add a wall wart?  I read in the past something about putting a 100 ohm resistor in series with the power input, to smooth things out and avoid LFO tick.  Maybe a bypassing cap was included too?  I added the jack to my perfed version, and now it clicks a little, even without the adapter attached!   :o

Can't find that old post in the archives.

Thanks :o)

Yes, using a 100 ohm resistor in series with the power jack and a 1000uf cap from + and 100 ohm juction to ground will do it most likely.
A lot of DC power supplies have the 1000uf already but it can never hurt.

Thanks, Basic  :)  It was probably your post I recall seeing about a year ago, LOL.  Will give that a try!

LFO tends to get 'lumpy', often it's best to add the filtering cap close to the opamp.
I used 25v caps, and a 12V WW, then used an LM317 to adjust voltage on it.
For some reason this one has a narrow Supply V operating range, something like 8.7v - 14v, and was particular about which outlets it would take usable AC from..so I put a regulator on it.
