Help!

Can't find a 55C schematic anywhere and the FX55B is very different..  Purchased this bugger on ebay a few weeks back - as 'not working' - for $5 plus s/h.  Isolated the problem to a couple of missing caps and bad transisitor.  I replaced the transistor and 'guessed' at the missing caps - have full sound, serious crunch - but very 'bass'y.  I also noticed that there was a cap soldered on the volume pot - connecting lugs 1 and 3.

My questions - Does the cap belong on the volume pot?  What are the original factory values for caps 'C23' and 'C25'?

Any help is appreciated.

Transistors a FET´s (Field Effect Transistors) Type: J 201

There shouldn´t be any cap across 1 and 3 on the volume-poti.

C 23: 100p
C 25: 1n

Done and it is perfect!!!  Fuzzy, fizzy - just what it should sound like.  Now, I can get a single-coil, cutting (ie nailfile thru the ears) sound from my LP.  Thanks again!!
