I had asked this question a while back, but never got any response, so I'll be a nag and ask it again!  LOL

Does anyone have or know of the schematic for the Marshall Jackhammer pedal?  I found a really good demo of it on youtube, and it's most definitely the sound I'm looking for.

Thanks!

Rick,

The Jackhammer is a nice pedal for metal. I changed the led clippers in mine and put in some asymetirc ge diodes instead. Got even heavier.  :icon_twisted:
This pedal is so cheap, you're better off buying it than building it. Having messed around inside mine I can tell you it's quite complex (but I haven't got a schematic unfortunately).

Hi Rick,

I think I have it on my computer at home. I'll email it to you when I get home tonight if I can find it.

I am inclined to agree with Krinor. It's a super cheap pedal for what you get. it has sort-of 4 knobs, but with 7 internal pots. Even just the cost of having 7 pots on a pedal makes it not worth making yourself unless you plan on doing some heavy modification. But it might be cool to look at the schem anyway.

great sounding pedal though, can i possibly please get the schem too???

Check your email....

I have a "real" one, and wouldn't think of DIYing it. I like it for hi-gain stuff, which I don't normally go for. It does go a long way in making my AC30 sound slightly more like a JCM-800 though.

Thanks all!

By the way, I recommend everyone check out Rogers' webpages for his studio and band.  Cool stuff!

It's a long story dude!  LOL

Axl Bundy has been my nickname for years, bestowed upon me by one of my derelict middle aged drinking and fishing buddies who finds it hilarious that I'm almost 50 years old and still playing guitar in a punk rock band.

If you've ever watched "Married With Children", you know the lead character is "Al Bundy".  In one particular episode he wore a woman's wig so he could get into an invitation only party with a bunch of has been 60's rock stars, and he called himself "Axl Bundy".

I decided to "come out of the closet" so to speak, and start using my real name.  It's much easier to keep up with things this way.  All my friends still call me Axl however.

See, I told you it was a long story!
