Getting more grit from OD250 ??

Hi,

just built a DOD OD250... wow... amazing sound!  But I'd like just a little more distortion out of it without having to boost the input with a seperate booster... any ideas if it's possible ?

make that resistor in series with the "drive" potentiometer smaller
(and I believe if you do make it smaller, you should increase that size of that capacitor in series with it so the frequency response also remains roughly the same)

If you can get a hold of the metal can version of the op-amp you will also get a nicer tone out of it.
