Hi,

just trying to make a vero for the sili-face.

Here's the schem from ROG :
http://www.runoffgroove.com/sili-face.html

and here's my layout :

I added a diode, which is a mod suggested by Joe Davisson here :

Could you help me verify if it's ready to go???

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Matt

C2 looks like PS bypass and the bottom, -, should go to ground.
V1 should go to ground, as should gain 1 and Q1 emitter.
er..I think..I didn't double check any of that 3 times..
The easiest way I've done layouts is to have the schematic and layout side by side, then count the number of connections at each node, noting the types, and compare that to the layout.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

And what about this one ??  It's kinda cramped but I am building it to fit my last vero board piece  :icon_redface:

Does it look ok ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

R4 needs to connect to the "+" side of C5. trace cut at b12 is not needed.

if you are going by the ROG schem then your R2 and C2 values are incorrect.

"ground" marking needs to move up one strip.

one leg of R2 needs to be connected to the emmiter of Q2.

that's all i see right now, but that's a quick glance. i would suggest starting with making the layout, and then buying a new vero so you aren't trying to cram a circuit in a space you currently can get it in.

Ok here's a review :

See any errors this time ??

Thanks,

hard to verify, looks like your part identifications (r1, c1, etc) have all changed. i'll have a look later today.

Yeah I tried to follow the schem at ROG this time.  The parts are the same value from the previous layout, but the parts number follows the schem
