Well, to make a long story short

I have a friend who borrowed my Rat a few times; he loved it. So he went out and bought himself a new Rat (mine is quite old) but the Rat really sucked. All the time it sounds like the pots are in the maxed position (on all pots) so he thought it was faulty

Turns out ProCO now uses anti-log pots for all controls.

This is really annoying as you have no room for turning as it will jump to the max position when the knob is at 9 o clock

So now I am searching for some replacement pots. The problem; they are like alpha pots but they have a huge..... ehm.... shaft I think (the thing you put the nuts on). Anyone know a place to get replacements, in log of course
Am learning something new every day here

I tried for quite a while to find good pots for this, never did find any that were exact replacements. I even called proco, but they said they wouldn't sell a bulk of pots. I ended up using 24mm pots with long 2" shafts (like you see at radio shack) and just cut off the extra shaft. Had to use different knobs of course too, but it worked decent enough.

you can reverse the pot connection while you find the right pots..it will give log taper, but will work from right to left..hehe...
