After a 7-month wait, my subscription to Guitar Player that I got in a fundraising drive for my kid's school finally started.  The June issue has a nice article on experimental guitarist David Torn (check his version of "Voodoo Child" on Door X).  When asked about his pedals, it was starting to read like a list of everyone we know.  Hell, I was expecting to find that one of my pedals was on his board! :icon_lol:

Props to Skreddy, Sean from Lovepedal, and to Paul Perry (some good words about the Frostwave Sonic Alienator).  If your work finds its way to Torn's pedalboard, you know you're doing something right. :icon_biggrin:

Hey, thanks for the headsup, Mark! I don't normally see the mags (they are a bit out of my price range by the time they get to Oz). Another guy with 'everything' including an Alienator is Charlie Clouser, I saw a pic of his racks of stompboxes.... with an Alientor on the floor underneath it all! The good thing was, you could see the lights on the Alienator glowing

Mark, our kids may go to the same school considering the rate of delivery we've each experienced (fund raiser here too).

I was really excited to see the Torn article as I just got his new record a couple of weeks ago - a serious sonic ear-tug to be certain.  DT makes some wild-assed 'DIY' music/noise for sure.  I too thought about this site and it's many fine contributors/builders when reviewing his pedalboard/sonic arsenal.
