Hi all,

I finally got some spray painting done on my box, but still have no clue on what should i do to put words, characters or even pictures on it.
i've seen some pictures from this forum that people uses  some sort of transparent paper and simply print them, and paste it on to the box.
what type of transparent paper is best for it? just regular transparency? or are there "sticker type" transparent paper??
or is there better ways of doing this??

thanks

http://www.decalpaper.com/inkjet.html

Maybe check the for sale/trade section.
Somebody was getting large batches of 'Gain, Vol, Treble....and other common box terminologies printed up in quantity.

Yes, I've seen places online that you can create custom waterslides(gold, white, colors not easy at home) and wasn't as expensive as I expected... just google custom decal... ;)

I've had reasonable luck printing and drawing on enclosures with gel pens then protecting the lettering with a coat of clear. I use both enamel and lacquer and just use the appropriate clear for the colour coat. Most of my pedals have Dymo lettering labels which I spray with the base coat then pick out the lettering with the gel pens but I've also done free hand lettering and decorations, sort of a poor man's version of ZVex boxes.

Sharpie is excellent...  And now they come in many colors. ;D

1. Get Photoshop or any design soft.
2. Get fonts.
3. Start a new document of the size of the pedal top.
4. Print your document on a "plastic" paper, I mean any paper that does not absorb the spray ink.
5. Cut the words out the printed doc and place it over the pedal top. Stick it to the case with tape.
6. Paint.
