Questions on Jawari

Hey.

First off I'm new, like very new. So hi. 

Now ok, I am attempting to build a Jawari (off of the circuit snippets site). Looking at the schematic...well I don't see a place for pots (did I mention I was a noob?) can somone help me out here...?

Hi Chris,

I don't see any pots there, either...must be a stand-alone, simple type of effect, and I would assume the output is at unity with the input, so no volume adjustments required.  You could always put a volume pot after the 100K pulldown resistor on the right side of the schematic, but that will only take volume down...making it louder would require adding a boost stage at the end of the effect. 
Occasionally something comes along that is THAT simple

There's a 10K pot between Q1 and ground, wiper connected to ground via 1uf cap.
