I'm looking at building the Saffron Squeeze, but had a question about the C500k sustain pot. How would that sound if I swapped the C for a B pot?

Thanks!

It will sound the same, but the amount of fuzz will likely not change much when the pot is turned up greater than 50% .  The Log pot spreads the fuzz across the pot.

The B pot will be fine.
It will "feel" a bit different with the B as opposed to the C however with that said, the original Ross and Dynacomps used a linear pot and personally, I prefer it that way.
The Saffron is a real nice comp though.....you'll like it!

Cool... Im using the layout you posted so I'll post a report when I get it complete. I have not yet dug deep into the circuit, should any other mods be done? Like adding the 0.001µF capacitor in parallel with the 10K output resistor?

THX!

Wow.  Bizarrely, I read the initial post and thought it was about the Swollen Pickle.

Didnt want to post another SS thread so i thought id go a little OT sorry...  Would ben milner's blend mod work with the ss?  I assume mark hammer's ross comp mods would too right?  Thanks!

Any of the traditional Ross mods will work with the SaffRoss build.
