I think it's safe to say no-one has built the Doomsdelay schematic as posted.
However some have experimented with delay feedback/re-gen loops.

My opinion...
The Doomsdelay is way beyond my beadboarding skills.
I would try the technique out on a used/cheap delay.

I've seen an ARTEK (sp?) delay that used the same chip as the ShEcho I think.
I'll search for that post...

i saw you posted on the experimentalists anonymous site...he has all the documentation on modding the pbj.  search for it there.  there's a schematic with mods, pics, etc...very helpful.

Just figuring out the lay of the land (site) there but I think this must be the mother load on the PB&J.
