Hey all,
I'm looking to build the tycobrahe octave and had some ideas I want to do for mods, but I'm a realatively a noob at this, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out.  What I want is to have a footswich for on/bypass, but then I want two more foot switches, one that cuts the octave and the other that cuts the fuzz, so that I have the options of Fuzz, Octave, or Fuzz/Octave.  I found the mod for the octave on/off switch at fuzzcentral http://fuzzcentral.ssguitar.com/octavia.php, but was wondering if anyone could help with the fuzz on/off switch.  Thanks for any help anyone can give.

The Tyco is always going to be fuzzy, there's no way to get a clean octave sound from it, that's just the way it that pedal works... atleast I've never heard of anyone doing it. So basically you can't do a fuzz on/off switch.

GGG has a body mod that reduces some of the agression of the octavia.

This mod is easily transferable to the fuzz central layout. I've done the body mod to mine (I used the GGG PCB) as well as the octave on/off mod and they work great.

Here's a pic:

Thanks for the reply.  I guess I'll just have to stick with the ocatve on/off.  Maybe I'll try that body mod as well.  Thanks.
