Modding the boss gt3

I want to mod this to be a rack unit. I opened the thing up and under the stomp pads are mini momentary switches somewhat like on the reg boss pedals. I was thinking about getting some of the carling spst momentary switches off small bear and switch the stock switch for this.. it should work right? Are there any toggle switches that would work for this?

Does anyone know any cool mods for this unit?
