CS-3 mod

I recently dug out of the closet my modded CS-3. I had modded this with the Monte Allums Opto kit. It made a huge difference in improving the usability of the compressor, but I am still having some "squashing". Not as bad as before the mod, but I would like to try to eliminate some more of it, but I don't know where to start. My compressor is first in line in my signal chain.
