 Up in my gallery.
I really recommend this one.... Robin Tomtlund's outstsanding Red Fuzz.
Finally finished after meaning to for ages. This ones a winner.
Some feedback would be nice if you build it. See any improvements etc.
I used the GGG schematic refereneced against the original.
Enjoy!

I don't get the C9 100uf cap.  I understand the first electrolytic of 100uf but not this one... error  ??  Is this vero verified ?

 Hi,
R4, D1, C3 and C9 are all added for fitering and protection if a power supply is used. You can leave them out if you want.
Yep, C9 is 100nf. I've adjusted the layout.

Heres the schematic....

Verifed?
Well it was drawn yesterday!
You can be the first  ;)

Hi,

The Intensity pot labels are backwards - lug 3 should go where there is 1,2 and vice versa. Also the volume lug 2 obviously doesn't go to ground.

Other than that, consider this layout verified!

My first Vero build, made using the Processaurus's Outrageous Vero Cheat technique. Kickass!

Wait - the Intensity pot worked backwards. I reversed the leads and it's still working backwards?

Very good.
Thanks for picking up that Vol2 typo, I've adjusted the layout.
Kicks some A class butt, doesn't it.

Aye! It's got generic red LEDs and a TL071 in it now. I socketed the IC, the diodes and a couple of the more critical caps for tweaking. I've got something like five different IC:s to try, some diodes and even sacrificable old Ge trannies. And just to clarify there is nothing wrong with the Intensity pot labeling. My soldering seems to be faster than my thinking. Two times in a row  ::)
