Marshally High Gain Box?

I know about the BSIABII, but there are more distortion box that give that "over the top" high gain marshall sound (i find the BSABII more an overdrive than a distortion? im looking for a DSL/TSL or heavy modded 800 sound for use with a one channel 6L6 clean amp.

The BSIAB2 has more gain than all those.
I would build a Mosfet boost and put that in front of the BSIAB2.
It very simple and will goose up the BSIAB2 a lot.

Maybye the plexi izer (search for it) It may need a boost as well if you think the BSIAB2 need more gain...

Other than that I'd build the Dr boogie and change the tone stack values and or remove it all together.
Maybe just build it and see what you think first before you tweak it.

I didnt know that the BSIABII have more gain than the Crunch It. The Mosfet booster is a good idea!

What about the Joe Davisson desings have the Blackfire/Hellfire or the Obsidian that marshally taste? How much gain they have?

I know this has been said before, but you won't get the JCM800 sound from a pedal, you'll only get it from working tubes hard. I suggest you look at building a nice high gain pre-amp that will drive your 6L6's. If it's configured like a Deluxe, you'll be able to get power amp sag by driving the tubes hard. That'll get you much closer than any high gain distortion pedal.
However, if you're after just the general sound, may I suggest the Marshall Jackhammer or Guvnor as possible candidates??

I just asked about Runoffgroove Big Daddy mods, and some user said that with a few cap changes it can sound marshally... the thread's in the first/second page, posted by me titled "more low end/crunch for big daddy" or something along those lines... I'd link it, but I gotta go..

I'll disagree with you and say the Crunch It (at least the commercial version) has more gain than the BSIABII.  IMO it is "THE" pedal for the JCM / Jubilee sound and is definitely a pedal to be used on the clean channel of your amp.  With the gain at the lowest setting it is already in Plexi, medium gain territory.
