Paracyclic filter?

Anybody know what a paracyclic filter is?   It's what EHX calls the tone stack in their Hot Tubes pedal but the only thing I could find on google that mentions it is for the Hot Tubes. Did they invent this term?

Not sure what exactly it is, but I'll bet it makes the Hot Tubes "the most versatile distortion ever!"   :icon_rolleyes: :icon_rolleyes: :icon_wink:

Maybe a "Two Cycle Filter"     Or "Two Stage Filter"    ???

Is that one of those weird tone controls that has an inductor or two?
I like amps etc.
