what do people use for insulating transformer links

iv seen those little caps you get on transformer wires for linking the ct's together with a metal terminal covered by a little plastic hats.

has anyone else found a place to buy these?

what do other people do? twisting and soldering/insulation tape feels a little amatuer.

For inline splicing, shrink wrap.

Good practice always use ground and high voltage switch
connections with faston connectors and terminals like above.
Like snoof said, use shrink too, for HV faston connectors
covering all the connector surface, in some countries like
here its in law. Easy and secure.

I think what you are asking about are called wire nuts. You just twist them onto a pair of wires.
