Bret, thanks for the tip,but for now, I definetly got it going with the AMZ at full volume, one advantage I would get lowering the AMZ as I tried would be that I would have more volume range for the clean sound, but with less overall punch. The way I got it now, if I want clean, I dont use the drive, full volume on amp and 8-9 on the guit. That suits me fine, as the lead sound is great!

Now ive been playing with it for a while and I noticed that its a bit middish sounding, its got bass, but I dont know if this is a result of the speakers or the circuits....so I have a question for circuit design specialists....do you think the bassman mod on the Ruby would give me more round bass on this?
The AMZ and Heartthrob tremolo I think have good frequency response in the low end, so is it the Ruby that is making it middish?, I seem to recall this texture of sound on other Ruby builds here. If there is any cap change that could give me a rounder sound, that would be great. I can achieve this almost perfectly with my 50's .005 Grey Tiger cap in the guit on tone control, but id love to get it from the circuit without using the tone on the guit.

Race driver, the AMZ booster I think gives up to 35db of gain, and that is pushing the Ruby, I dont know how that translates in watts on the speaker, but my speakers are rated at 15 watts each giving 4 ohms for both.

Finally, I will not do a Youtube clip, ill go full pro and record the amp with a good stereo mic, Ill then post a high sample MP3.
thanks for the comments!

My *dunno nothin but have $0.02*:
I doubt if changing the circuit will help ya.
That's where the speaker/size/cab/efficiency things come into play.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm full of it...woof?
