IIRC, its basically a Screamer variant. Those Rocktrons are damn good sounding pedals, especially for the money. The Austin Gold is a great sounding pedal at 2-3 times the price, as is the Pulse trem.

The chip is a JRC 4558. I've traced out some of the circuit and it's pretty much a TS808 so far. Some of the power supply resistors that are 10k are 100k on this unit. More info to follow.

It's amazing what a little change will produce. I don't have the cap or the 1meg pot I need to do the Grandlaff mod but I changed the resistors and it sound much more dynamic like a cranked amp.
