I'm having one of those moments, probably due to my extremely long night at work.

I have an effect with 3 pots, all 100kB. I want to build the effect into a wah enclosure and use a 3P4T rotary switch to change what the wah pot is controlling.

I bought the switch, and planned the wiring in my head, but now I can't figure out how to wire it without the non-wah pot messing up what the wah pot does... Should I just sleep? Is this not possible?
I like amps etc.

The trick is to keep the two pots not being disabled by the wah pot hooked up to the circuit.

It may be simpler depending on how the pots are hooked up (like if they all have a lug to a common circuit point or only use two lugs to make it a variable resistor), but I think you can do it with a 1p3t rotary switch to control 3 seperate CD4053 (3x spdt) electronic switching chips, because I think you need 9x spdt switches for the job.  Each of the 3 pots need 3 spdt switches to switch the circuit between the 3 lugs on the normal pot and the 3 lugs on the wah pot.  It sounds bad, but the chips are cheap and it would be straightforward wiring it on a piece of perfboard.

Thanks for the advice! I was sure I had my brain turned off when I ordered that rotary switch... I'll look into getting some of those chips. I'm sure I can find an example circuit around somewhere too.
