anyone have pics of the inside of a Pod xt Live?

i run it in a true bypass loop, and i'm making an even smaller bypass loop to put on top of it in the corner, but I was wondering if there's room to just build it into the unit and what the jacks look like for soldering purposes.

pic of it in a loop (the new box will go where my ebow currently is... and my Mark Hammer Crank pedal will go back on the board along with a BB or Shredmaster Clone once I sell the Hot Cake):

lazy and have exams... was hoping someone else tried this already.

Knowing me, I"ll probably just build the external one before i start digging around inside the pod.

blanik

with all the effects you already have, what do you need the POD for??

;D

Don't remember where I downloaded this from.  Google image search?  It doesn't look impossible, but it does look like a pain in the butt.  Good luck.

Blanik:
I hate the internal distortions/amp models in the Pod... the rest of the stuff works just fine (not amazing, but too user-friendly to pass up... tap tempo for anything and expression pedal for anything).
So, basically, I just have a bunch of distortions/overdrives and an external whammy (that was there before the whammy update on the Pod and will stay there cuz i'm used to it there).
The DL-4 is used as a sampler now and for slight delay since there's a couple miliseconds of dead air when you change patches on the Pod with no delay/reverb spillover.  I may even add a Verbzilla too in order to mask that for a bit.
The RC booster is there to bring back the lows and highs and boost into my amp.
The Compressor is there because I think it's a great compressor and it serves as a place to plug in my guitar cord.
Now that I figured out that you can assign the "AMP" footswitch in the Pod to control the internal compressor instead of the amp sims, I may ditch the Guyatone eventually if I can live with a lesser-delay after the pedals instead of a better one in front of them (since I don't use it all that often lately).

Ardic:

THANK YOU!!!! I google searched FOREVER and found nothing.   I'm just going to put it on the outside i guess, above the "bank" switches with some velcro... maybe I'll screw it directly to the Pod instead of using the bottom lid of the box (it's a small 1.99" x 1.99" enclosure) and run some of the wires on the inside of the box and back out to the ins and outs of the pod to keep it clean and tidy...

-the box will have an input and output jack on the back and a true bypass switch.  the send and return will be directly wired to the footswitch and run out to the ins/outs of the pod (maybe inside the pod and back out near the jacks like i said)

...now about the LED, I have no clue.  Mabye i could figure out how to hardwire that into the power jack on the pod.
Otherwise It'll have to be a loos wire with a jack on the end -- and if I'm going to do that, I might as well not wire anything inside of the Pod and just keep it as a medusa-style external true bypass loop and just leave the decision of Red or Blue LEDs instead of having all of this "to drill or not to drill" stuff.

Geez how come everybody can have a tidy look on their pedalboard ? mostly all of the local musicians in my country have a very bad wiring.

If they're like me, they look good for about 2 gigs. After that, I start swapping pedals around and it starts looking like garbage. :D

That'd be correct!  I keep moving my fuzz around... but that's the only mess i get really.
