AMZ's 'Warp' Control: which one? (Jack?)

I am in the process of building the GGG MXR Dist+, with the addition of the Simply Wonderful Tone Control and maybe the AMZ Warp Control.

My question is this: which one of the Warp Controls in the AMZ Lab Notebook is considered to be the 'standard'/basic/classic?
I'm looking for something that will give me a balance between the stock (non-warped) diode clipping and the warped (odd harmonics?) effect.

Thanks,
Buck

Simplest thing is just to have 2 diodes in series going in one direction and one in the other.  Connect the lugs of a SPST toggle(or just use two lugs of any switch, slide or toggle) to shunt/bypass one of the diodes in the path where 2 are in series.  When you bypass one of the diodes (and it doesn't matter which of the two in series you do this to) you essentially "cancel" the added 3rd diode and revert back to the standard symmetrical clipping arrangement.  Flick the switch so that the shunt is removed/open and you're back to a 2+1 arrangement which will provide a slightly different sound.  More complexity than that is not really needed.

Yes, the toggle is the one you want. The warp control blends in or out the clipping diodes. Sort of a distortion/clipping amount knob if used in the D+. I think you'll get a little clipping either way with the D+. The Op amp clips some, plus depending on your amp settings.
I'll plug the OD250 77' version too. Simple to configure it that way on any 250/D+ type board. They are very similar parts wise...
