Red Fuzz Build Report... Kick A$$!!!!

This think rocks! I'd been reading and noticing a lot of posts concerning this overlooked and underrated circuit, so i thought i would give it a shot since i was looking for a distortion or fuzz circuit for bass to blend clean with and was having trouble finding what i wanted. red fuzz stepped right up! i did only have 500k around in place of the 1 MEG, so i put a 470k in line with it. it made the fuzz control a little less useful, as you can't go below 470k resistance, meaning the fuzz is already pretty hot on minimum, but it sounds MEAN!

yes, that's the small daughter board towards the bottom of the gut shot, i used the layout i made in my gallery for that part. works really well!

I made this a long time ago and I loved it. My post is somewhere in the archives. However mine had lots of noise and I didn't know how to fix it long ago. I did love it!
