I have a box,it has LEDs in it,the colors vary...blue,white,orange,yellow,green,red,pink,blue,U.V and i use what ever one i happen to grab out of this box.
Most of the blue ones are so bright you need welding goggles when installing it (not even on yet) ,but other than that it offers "instant mojo and tons of vibe"

It depends on the pedal for me.  If I'm building the pedal for someone else or modding it for someone, I always use a yellow high-brightness clear-diffused LED.  Why?  'Cause I like yellow.  If I'm building it for myself, then It'll depend on the color of the pedal and knobs, and also what other color LEDs I currently have on my board.  I try to keep similar colored LEDs to a minimum if possible, so that almost each pedal will have a different color LED associated to it.  I love the look of my CE-3 with a bright yellow LED on it.  MY colorsound overdriver I have is purple on black.
