Title says it all -- and I *PROMISE* I searched!

I've been limping along the last few days, trying to hunt around the internet to understand basic schematics, and it would be SO much easier if there was  decent book that would explain how to read diagrams, as well as draw them.

Can anyone recommend any decent books? As far as my skill level, I'm a total newbie — but I'm technically minded and a quick learner.

TIA,
Maury
