Craziest:

-Dragonfly's Dirty sanchez

Innovative:

-Probably anything by dragonfly, he's re-introducing pretty old school tricks in DIY stomp-box building.  Which is definateley a good thing, and a relief that those "tricks" are not forgotten, you know?

Well, not built, but I once breadboarded a synth-sounding phaser from little more than a few 555 chips to do the delay (technically, it was more of a micro flanger).  It worked, but the phasing effect was very subtle and the circuit wasn't worth building (might as well have run a comparator fuzz through a one/two-stage phaser).  It was pretty innovative, though... just not very good!
