Hey all,
I was listening to some phaser-ed songs and something occurred to me... is there some circuit with a control to set at which "position" the phaser is?

It could be like a wah pedal where the phase is controlled or something, could give some interesting sounds...

Input?

Done that. Its actually pretty easy to do depending on your phaser circuit. Often it is just a matter of disconnecting the LFO from the resistive element and connecting a properly calibrate pot in the LFO's place.

Its really fun. :)

I was thinking exactly that, but it seemed way too simple to be the whole story... Oh well...

Occam's Razor anyone? :P

Try it with a phaser with the dry signal removed from the mixer ala vibrato mode. Pseudo manual pitch shifter. ;)

Many thanks, man!
Any ideas on which circuit to mod? The MXR phase series seems a bit out of reach for me (for now, I hope)...

Again, thanks :D

Is this a phaser? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AYMsuQdUho The solo right at the end where it gets a bubbly sound.

The Easyvibe has a reputation around here and it should be easy to mod for manual control.
