470pf cap in BSIAB2...poly film?

Using the search function for the BSIAB2 build I find several posts recommending a polystyrene cap for the 470pf cap. What, if any, difference would result in using a poly film cap here? I ask because I plan on ordering parts from Small Bear and he lists no polystyrene caps on his site. I don't want to order from another source and pay shipping on a single part. Thanks.

I will quietly resist.

Polyester will be fine for the 470p cap. Polystyrene is said to be a nice one but you may not even hear a difference (me either...)
I've built 2 and they both sound good , one had a polysteryne and one a polyester 470p.
Sometimes trying to tell a difference in cap types is like splitting hairs. It can make a difference but here a poly film  will be fine.

I haven't tried polyester, should be closer to the sound of polystyrene than mica. Mica sounds good, but a bit harsher and treblier. Might be worth trying.
I like using a 560pf cap in there lately. Gives the single coil 'snap' tone.

I've built a couple of these. I used poly film in one and silver mica in the other. They both sound great and I don't think anybody will be able to hear the difference on stage with a band. I know I can't.

Not to hijack, but has anyone tried lowering the 470k resistor in that pairing down to 220k (ala a JTM45)?
