Okay, so i'll admit i am a beginner.. but i was thinking abotu something.
I found this nice wah layout: http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=114
and it isnt difficult at all
BUT! i dont really want to make a wah PEDAL
I wanna make a wah box
So basically, my plan is to create a wah circuit, but instead of having a wah pot (just a variable resistor right?)
I wanna have a simple push pull switch.. so when i push it in it has the wah tone, and when i pull it has the normal tone. that sounds right doesnt it?  So bear with me here
If i set up this switch, would it work like a normal wah pedal? i mean look at the wiring schematic link... i dont understand how i could coordinate spst switch in? is it possible

Instead of using the wah pot just use a regular pot mounted with a knob on your enclosure. Then you just adjust the knob to where you want the wah sound. Mount the stomp switch like any other stomp box, and there you have it. Dunlop had a pedal that did the exact same thing.
If it ain't broke...   ...it will be soon.

sounds good.. except (im noob) how doi set the switch. i want it to bypass so if the switch is off i still get sound...

If you look at Tonepad's projects page there is one for offboard wiring. There are different layouts that depend on what switch you have and if you want an LED or not. Any of these will give you %^&*ed wah when on and unaffected tone when off.

Yeah, it's called the "Q-Zone".  :icon_wink:

I thought it was "Q" something. I just like having the opportunity to say "%^&*ed wah"!
