i recently pulled two small 8ohm speakers out of an old radio. i plugged them into my headphone jack of my digitech rp3 because thats the only jack they worked in and it wasnt very loud or clear.  i was what are some good amp schematics to use for them?

the speaker maybe...

TWO SMALL...OLD radio
Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar.  If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.

i wouldnt use small speakers form old radios as substitute for guitar speakers...

anyway, try the ruby project in runoffgroove.com

I built a Noisy Cricket recently. It sounds nice and you can get all the parts at Radio Shack.

My Ruby and Noisy Cricket sound best using a 12" speaker from a stage monitor.  Even my two 15" speakers of my PA sounds good.  Bigger speaker and some kind of cabinate will sound decent.

Yep.
Ruby and NC II will need a decent speaker (10+ inches) so they don't sound like....noisey crickets.  I use a 12" Celestion Greenback clone (Lorentz).  It's a little more efficient than original greenbacks. (about 94 dB/W)  You won't regret it, even if you gotta work the grill at Burger King or dance naked at hen's nights to get the cash.
