Guv'nor/ Michael Burgundy Schem

Anyone built a Gov'nor distortion pedal based on GGG project or Michael's schematic?

If so, How's the tone controls work?  I have a suspicion that there is a problem in the schematic with the placement of R10.  I suspect it should be moved over between bass and treble pot, like the Daddyo tone control.  I've tried it both ways and the treble control doesn't do much when wired as shown in Michael's schematic.  When moved over, the treble control works much better.

Any comments from anyone are more than welcome.  I'm just trying to get it right.  Fantastic range of tones in this pedal (and Dano Daddyo)!  The problem with the daddyo is that the knobs are too close together and extremely difficult for my fat fingers to tweak.

I'll have an improved layout available as soon as I feel certain the tone control is good.

i just modded an actual guvnor, and it looked the same inside as the schematic.  if you wish to move it is up to you. though.

I believe it's correct, but I still have the original Guv here, so if you want to be 100% sure, I'll open it up.
If the moved resistor sounds better, all the power to you and welcome to the wonderful world of modding.

not a bad idea, why not put it down as a mod.....    anyway the tone control on the guvnor isn't earth shattering by any means unless you change the pots to 25k..

The R10 680r resistor to ground in Mike's schem becomes a 6.8k in the the Guv2. So that might be worth a shot.
