I have one question.I'm VEEERY new in this all. What type of perfboard do I need to build May Queen? An how to draw the connections on it?Thanks for help!

what layout are you going to use? there are 3 different types of layouts, perfboard, veroboard/strip board, and PCB. i usually just get my perfboard from radio shack, but you can also click the "STORE" link above and get it there.

now if it is a perfboard layout that you are using, you would make your traces/connections by using the legs/wires of the components themselves and or cut pieces of legs/wires and you can use standard coated wire to make jumpers and what not. or at least thats how i do it. it can get a bit ugly, but as long as it works who cares?

The WIKI is an invaluable resource, and will answer most any question you have at this point in your building experience. :)

Have fun !

if you're asking "can I use all types of perfboard?" then yes. i'm still kind of new to this but, i've only heard of 2 types of perfboard. the first one has copper around the holes/perfs on the back side of the board. this makes it easy to solder the parts to the board. the other doesn't have the copper around the holes/perfs.

Thanks! And sorry for my english. :D

SUPER VELCROBOY

With a perfboard, you basically have to make the connections between the leads. On a stripboard, the connections are there in strips of copper. However some of these connections will also have to be cut. PCB is entirely different. You have to already know the the layout, etch everything out and place the components.

Yes the PCB etching is a totally different animal the vero or perf.  As SUPER VELCROBOY said and add you have to drill all the holes too.
