Everyone,

I just built a VERO layout of Dragonfly's El Diablo fuzz.  Since I'm a newbie, I started with something simple, but I still need another set of eyes to take a look at it, if you don't mind.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Axl

Shouldn't R5 go from gain pot lug 1 to ground? As far as I can see lug 1 connects directly to ground and R5 is misplaced.

Also, you are missing an input label (at row I). A cosmetic detail, but anyway.

Have fun

Carsten,

You're absolutely right.  This is why old folks like me shouldn't attempt this type of thing before 3 cups of coffee!

Thanks dude!

Looks good apart from R5.  You could put R5 where C6 is with gain 1 going to i14 then move C6 to the top 9 volt row with the negative side going to somewhere on row d, that way you could get rid of that long jumper on column 13 and make the layout one column smaller. I'd also get rid of row h and move everything below that up 1 row, but that's just because I like to make my layouts as compact as possible.
