I just ruined my last MPSA13, darn!  :P

What are suitable substitutions for it? I'm using it in the BazzFuzz by the way..

Thanks

mpsa13 is a darlington transistor, so you can just set up two transistors (2n5088 or something similar) as a darlington pair and you're all set.

(let's call the two transistors in the pair Q1A and Q1B...)
connect the base of Q1A as you would the mpsa13
connect the emitter of Q1A to the base of Q1B
connect the collector of Q1A to the collector of Q1B, then connect that point as you would the collector of the mpsa13
an finally, connect the emitter of Q1B to ground.

or just look here...

I understand.. I'm shopping for parts, so i guess i'll get some of those too. I've already made the perfboard, and connected everything, so i'm not keen on re-doing it all (at least not right now.  ;) ).
