does voltage rating of caps have an effect on sound?

i was just wondering if it matters if i use 16v 25v 50v or even 100v, im guessing not but i just want to be sure, also im building a ts808 and in the clipping stage im using a 47pf silver mica cap thats rated for 500v, that works right?

from what i understand, it has no audible difference.  it's just a safety rating for what you're running the circuit at!
