How can i find a damaged capacitor with a regular moltimeter?

I don't have Farads in it..
My Boss DS-1 still doesnt work..
I suspect a capacitor  and i cant find it.
i re-built the circuit twice, and now i built it reslly slow to prevent mistakes..
