ok, today i finished all the wiring and soldering on my fuzz factory.

bypass = OK
LED = OK

circuit... not 100% OK

the "fuzz face" settings give me the best results, but where-ever the pots are, the effect doesn't get through on the highest strings, there is more popping than sound when i play single notes and it always sounds like i have broken speakers, every sounds gets cut of very fast.
and about all the pots have a crackle... which, to my knowledge is NOT OK with a fuzz factory...

can anyone help me with the stuff i described here?
where did i go wrong?
hopefully an easy fix...

You need to read the thread "what to do when it doesn't work" .  Gather the info and come back.  However, discussing the Fuzz Factory here is probably not permitted because Mr. Zex himself frequents this list and sparks will likely end up flying because he want's to protect his intellectual property.

You might end up figuring it out by yourself though.

To me, it sounds at if you have a transistor biasing problem.  Good luck.

Discussing the fuzz factory is absolutely fine so long as you don't post the schematic. Like 8mileshigh said it sounds like the transistors aren't biased properly, using germanium transistors often means some of the resistor values on a schematic might need altering to get the pedal to work.
