MXR Phase 90 mod problem with switching pops

I decided to bite the bullet and  put a 3PDT switch into my reissue Phase 90 to make it true bypass. At the same time I also added a switch to be able to go between the script and block versions.

After a bit of tinkering about I got it done and working...well almost. My pedal now suffers from a notorious switching pop when it's turned on. When I switch it to bypass, I don't hear a significant pop. Only when switched on. I read through a bunch of guides on how to solve this type of problems and even soldered pulldown resistors in the effect input and output (I'm pretty shure the stock circuit already had this), but nothing seems to make the pop diminish.

Can someone please help me figure out what to do about this problem. I attached a picture describing how my mod is done. The picture does not include the script mod, but I doubt that it is causing this.

Thanks.

Very cool. I have a reissue Phase 90 as well and was thinking about doing the same. However, I'm trying to rid my Ross compressor clone of a nasty bypass pop as well. Here's a link to the AMZ site with some possible solutions to poping. I'm not sure if it will apply to your project, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck. :)
