If possible from the UK please? Thanks!
Oh and also... which is that standard sized box where, say, those MI audio effects are built in? GGG sells drilled boxes so I'll order some but they offer three sizes and I have no idea which is the right one. Doh.

Yeah, if you are even the slightest bit handy a little chinsey drill press will keep coming in handy over and over again.

Papa_lazerous

other thing is you will nearly always want knobs in different places on pedals,

its ok buying an enclosure with a set number of holes but if you want to make a BMP you need three knobs then next week you want a rangemaster you need one knob........

Machine mart is really cheap and is in the UK (I am essex based) have a look online for a store near you they are worth a look.  All you need then is a set of drills a steel rule for measuring stuff maybe a scriber for marking out and a centre punch and you are away.  I would bet you wont look back either

Cheap for me is less than 15 pounds. More is just too expensive. I'm a student without an income... :( And without any space. And I live with a baby in the flat.  No power tools even if I could afford them.

I also checked for machine shops in Edinburgh and there simply is nothing. I did all the timber, DIY and tool stores.

Papa_lazerous

dont worry the baby wouldnt steal your drill ;)  the key is simply putting stuff out the harms way.

your best bet is going to be finding someone locally who can drill it for you me thinks

Idiot

Pedal parts plus online has pre drilled.go to build your own clone forum for link, love

Guys I've really tried every tool shops I could get to in Edinburgh as well as my uni. There really is nowhere they could drill my cases. It's a small town in a way.

Thanks I'll check pedal parts plus.

Alright I emailed GGG and I'm checking out PPP's website. On GGG the enclosures are way more expensive but I can tell them exactly what I want. On PPP the enclosures are way cheaper, I can order more parts with them to make sure they fit, and still the one thing that bothers me is to find a proper LED bevel  :icon_lol: I'll email them.

Papa_lazerous

Maplins do a few nice LED bevels ranging from chrome to plastic.  I dont like Maplins but they would suit your needs for this and you are gaauranteed to have one local

Idiot

For LED's try John Lewman's web site.it's called effects connection

www.pedalpartsplus.com has got the best enclosure deals. They have some gorgeous finishes on their powdercoated enclosures. Also, multiple pre-drilled options are available. All this at a reasonable price.
