hi there!

well, just posting to show my progress on this project..
I did the boards, and solder the parts. Had to cut the ground trace from relays ..to control them with ground, not with V+..

did the power supply, worked fine, it gave me around 290 volts, wich is a good voltage for tubes..

Las night i worked on the box..I use an adhesive aluminum-like paper and print it with a laser printer..the i apply some acrylic laquer coats and stick it on the box ..pretty easy, cheap and very nice!...
some pics:

Sorry for the bad pics,..i´ll post some DIY porn (guts, board, wiring) soon!!

greetings!!

Keep it up and soon you'll have the super nice box ! !
Extra points for using the 'cage handles', recessing the tubes.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

HAHA YEA..
the handle is intended to protect the tubes from hassles..and it looks cool!!! hahaha
i dont know if i should cut the sides of the face plate...they dont look too good..but i´m scared of messing the whole thing up...
