Brighten up my fuzz

So I have a 2 transistor fuzz I built, which is pretty much a fuzz face that's a bit dark or too bass-y
Any quick ways to make it a little brighter?
would changing the bias of the transistors do it?
I put a 20k pot on the collector of Q2 instead of the 8.2k resistor which increases the output alot.
I 'm going to put a pot on Q1's collector to mess with it's bias and see if that makes any difference.

Although I've been building and repairing stuff for years, I'm new to this world of FUZZ!

Lowering the input cap will cut bass, but everything interacts with the fuzz face, so have fun fiddling  about!

Might want to change the volume pot to a 100k Log, I think its subtle but I like it. It brightens the circuit up a bit.

Input cap can be made smaller, reduces gain on some lower frequencies.
Output cap can be made smaller for less bass output, bass cut after the fuzzing takes place.
The bypass cap [electro] can be made smaller and reduces gain of lower frequencies.
Ge's are sometimes less in the HF Gain dept., most transistors are similar in frequency amplification in FF, at least compared to changing value of capacitence.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Well I had a 100k output pot which I changed to 500k which made it darker. I'll have to change it back.
I put a pot on Q1's collector so I could tweak it's bias....I think the problem is the GE PNP I have in Q1 is crappy,
I'll have to check the HFE of each, I had them lying around so who knows how good they are.

I just lowered the input cap on a single transistor fuzz I just built.  It really helped clean up the excessive bass in that pedal.
