Sourcing rollbars or cages to protect tubes?

Starting to consider building a tube-based pedal.  Does anybody have any good ideas/sources for stuff to protect the tube(s)?  Cages, rollbars, etc.?

In the cabinet business those type of handles are called a "wire pull".  I've been hunting them too, they are nice for protecting knob settings.

Ikea - they have a good selection of small "U" or rather " n " shaped handles, perfect for that job !
