Does any one have a schematic for the C200 vol/Wha. Planning to build a copy of the booster circuit 'cus I want the wha before the dist. but the booster after so the easiest way's to build a separate booster. The booster sounds good I think, adds a bit of sparkle and allot of boost. The down side is that it uses a +15 -15 power supply.

People occasionally ask for this, so I figured I'd put it up.  I think the Vol section is pretty straightforward opamp design, maybe it only sounds good because it has high input impedance and a +/- 15v power supply.  I mostly appreciate it from a mechanical design standpoint; it is a very well crafted, quality piece of equipment.

It looks like you could just make a simple opamp boost that would perform as well or better, if you used a charge pump to make +/- 9v and used an opamp circuit with variable gain.  Maybe a mxr micro amp with a charge pump to double the typical 9v to 18v for super headroom and lots of clean gain before clipping.
