Has anyone reversed engineered the Micro POG yet ?  :icon_rolleyes:
I love the sound of that thing, but I fear it is a digital circuit ?
Is there a DIY project around which can do the same thing as this one ?

Seljer

pretty sure its got the same digital stuff as the other ones, just scaled own, not really in the realm of DIY unless you know a lot about that area

I'm after an analogue circuit. Surely an octave up combined with an octave down and a blend function can't be that hard to make ?

The POG and Micro POG are like those Casio keyboards; one basic digital chipset with fewer or more of the features tapped.  I imagine the various "Grail" pedals (Holy, Holier, Holiest) are the same way.

Octave up and octave down work by different methods.  The Pearl OC-7 Octaver will give up and down at the same time, and there is a project on my site (http://hammer.ampage.org) from an old Japanese projects book called the Superoctaver that also does that.
