beginner question: Why doesn't my press and peel stick to the copper board?

I tried everything...high temperature. low temperature, mid temperature while ironing.  I cleaned my copper blank thoroughly.  I followed every instruction manual I could download about press and peel blue, and how to stick it on the copper board.  It just doesn't work...Please, anybody, save me.  Thank you.

Check basics first: Did u print the design out on the correct side of the paper?
Do u have the pnp oriented properly on the copper board?
I know these are simple, but just good to start with the basics.  Also, don't know if this helps, but i had my iron pretty hot and i put a piece of paper between the iron and the transfer sheet.  I also pressed down flat with the iron with fairly strong pressure while moving it around.

Does any of the design end up on your copper board does nothing transfer?

Another most likely maybe a dumb question.  But did you use a laser printer using toner and not ink jet?

Hmmmmmmmmm...I think I used ink jet for printing...is it specifically made for lazer printing???  I printed on the dull side and I just followed instructions at tonepad.com.  I just tried again now, it didn't work...I guess it's the printing???  Thanks for the replies

Nothing transfers but the ink...thank you

The toner should transfer. It only works with laser printers because the toner actually melts off the PNP and onto the copper or aluminum surface. The paper shouldn't try to stay, just the design that you printed on it. But it won't do anything but ruin it if you use ink jet.

okay, now I get it.  I'll lazer print or photocopy later.  I tried transferring a blank piece of PNP on a copper blank..didn't work.  The PNP won't transfer...I guess I really need that lazer print.  Thanks everybody!!!

Yes, laser printing is totally key to it working. That or else your run of the mill photocopier, which is what I usually use.

If it doesn't have any blotchy or light areas, the cheap crappy copy machine at your corner 7-11 might be perfect for the job.
